How much does a built in wardrobe cost?
It depends on width, whether it has drawers, the door type and the finish. A simple painted reach in with hanging and shelving is at the affordable end. A full wall of drawers, sliding doors and veneer is well above it. We quote after measuring.
Can you build around a sloped ceiling or a bulkhead?
Yes. That is exactly where built in beats flat pack. We take the joinery right into the awkward space instead of leaving a dead gap above it.
Do you paint the wardrobe as well?
We build it ready for paint, filled and sanded. We can arrange painting or leave it for your painter. Say which you prefer at quote stage so the price reflects it.
Can you fix a door that sticks or will not close?
Usually yes, and usually in under an hour. Doors drop as houses move. It is often a hinge adjustment or a plane and rehang rather than a new door.
How long does a built in wardrobe take?
Most single wardrobes take one to two days on site. Multiple rooms or a full walk in take longer. Material lead times sit outside that.
