Do you take on small jobs?
Yes. Half day and single day jobs are welcome. There is a minimum call out to make the trip worthwhile, and if you have several small things on a list it is far more economical to do them in one visit.
Do you charge hourly or by the job?
For repair work we usually quote a fixed price once we know the scope. For a list of miscellaneous jobs, an hourly rate is often fairer to you because you only pay for what it takes.
Can you look at it before quoting?
For anything beyond the very simple, yes. A photo by email or text is often enough for us to give you a range before we visit, which saves both of us time.
Are you insured?
Yes. We carry public liability insurance and can provide a certificate of currency on request. Body corporates and property managers usually ask for it.
How soon can you come out?
Small repair work usually fits within one to two weeks. Urgent safety issues like a failing step or an insecure door we try to get to sooner.
